The AdvancedFrame® Convertible is a fifteen foot kayak that can be paddled solo or tandem. The Convertible Elite combines aluminum rib-frame technology in the bow and stern, and rigid Drop-stitch technology in the floor, to provide paddling performance that rivals that of a hard-shell kayak. The versatile open deck design can be converted to a closed deck kayak in a matter of seconds by simply zipping in the optional single or double deck conversions and the upgraded lumbar seats provide comfort for hours of paddling!

With an open deck design, you can easily enter and exit the boat or utilize the optional single or double decks to convert your AdvancedFrame® Convertible from an open deck to a closed deck kayak in a matter of seconds. The design of this kayak combines our rigid bow and stern rib-frame design with the versatility of tandem or solo seating positions and interchangeable decks.

Features Drop-stitch Technology!
Drop-stitch technology creates high pressure forms that are extremely rigid. The drop-stitch floor in this kayak creates a hull with chine, which enhances the tracking and hull speed, and adds unparalleled rigidity in an inflatable kayak.

• Unlike most tandem kayaks, the AdvancedFrame Convertible Kayak has plenty of leg room for BOTH paddlers and adjustable seat straps so you can move forward or backwards to give your other paddler more room – you won’t be squashed up together with bent legs

• The extra length allows you to paddle independently without crashing paddles – you don’t have to be paddling in sync, which means less arguments!

• The solo seating position means you are perfectly balanced in the kayak – no drag and no wag.

Fast and Comfortable for Long Trips :

• Extra long (over 4.5m) for speed so you can plan big adventures – this kayak really moves!

• Your back is supported by the high back seat so you are comfortable all day

• Your backside is cushioned by the low pressure inflatable floor reducing the risk of numbness

The AdvancedFrame™ Convertible Kayak is designed to be a day touring type kayak, for flat or open water. It is fine for class 1 and 2 rivers, and durable enough for class 3, however it is really designed to paddle in a straight line, and therefore not recommended for rivers above class 3
