Slayer 13 Propel Kayak

Lean, Mean, Hands Free Fishing Machine

FIRST WITH REVERSE, THE ORIGINAL & THE BEST.

Lifetime warranty on hull, 2 year warranty on the patent pending propel unit.

Considered game-changer in hands-free fishing, the Slayer Propel 13 is unmatched in its ability to maintain casting distance, pull away from structure or stop on a dime when trolling to relieve rod pressure. You’ll also enjoy rock- solid stability when sight casting– even for the XXL angler.

Designed to easily customize/personalize, the Slayer Propel offers bow to  stern rails that easily mount Scotty, Ram and Railblaza gear. Go as big as you want or keep it to a minimum; it’s your choice. The Slayer Propel 13’s open storage compartment combines space and easy-access. The boat offers unsurpassed versatility: take it out on your local lake and fish for bass one day, then leave the drive system at home and paddle it for a day of trout fishing on your local rocky river.

SO, HOW FAST DOES IT GO?

With relaxed pedaling you can cover 4.2 miles per hour all day, and can push to 5.2 miles per hour when that thunderstorm rolls in. The low profile performs great in the wind, especially when under power and has easy-to-use left hand rudder control. The most versatile pedal-driven fishing kayak on the market, the Slayer Propel excels as well in pedal mode as paddled or poled in the skinny water. The drive unit is designed for 12”-18” minimum depth depending on load,

This model has the same open deck layout and fast stable hull as our popular Slayer series plus an extra-large rudder for quick maneuverability. Our unique Propel system is the only pedal drive system that can be pedaled in reverse, an essential capability when stalking and battling the catch of the day. The ability to pedal backwards allows you to stay on target against the wind or in changing currents.

Available in South Australia in Hidden Oak (Camo), Copperhead, Blue Lagoon, Lizard Lick

The Slayer Propel First Class Seat adds a new dimension of adjustability to unsurpassed comfort. The signature combination of our solar screen HiFlow™ 3D mesh suspended over an aluminum frame cushions and supports the back and bottom while drying quickly and ventilating to keep you cool. Straps easily adjust and recline the back frame. It is also set on rails so the seat can slide forward or backward allowing you to find your own perfect pedaling position. In addition to offering a better angle for pedaling, the elevated seat gives a better view for sight casting and makes standing easier.

The Groove is our exclusive accessory attachment system. Want to go out with extra work surfaces, rod holders or depth finders? Components slide on-off at your pleasure. You can lock them down anywhere along the rail system, loosen and move them easily.

Propel Pedal Drive System (patent pending) is ingeniously designed and feature-laden. You can pedal in reverse which is invaluable for fishing, docking and photography. It easily tilts out of the water and out of the way on the bow when you'd rather paddle or pole. Sealed against sand and grit and made from marine grade aluminum and stainless steel, the Propel (patent pending) is built to perform in fresh or salt water. Minimum maintenance required. See the Propel Ownership page for details like assembly videos and the Care and Maintenance Manual.

The Slayer hull was crafted to ensure that it can get you to the fish in all types of waters. As a self-bailing sit on top, the hull stays dry on oceans, lakes, and rivers. Plus the low draft lets you get through super skinny water. It is stable enough to ensure you feel safe and comfortable moving around in the raised seating position or even standing to sight cast. It was designed with a clear deck to prevent tangled lines and smooth sides to reduce hull slap. The hull tracks with precision and maneuvers easily but it is also rudder ready for those looking to boost the tracking and turning capabilities even further.

Electronics Console
The electronics console in all the Slayer models provides a dry storage area for your batteries when running depth or fish finders. Thumb screws eliminate the need for tools when accessing the console. Additionally, the cover has a Groove Trackinsert that allows equipment or rod holders to easily be added or exchanged.
